Edith began her involvement with Goldthread as a student. She developed her passion for holistic health practices and medicinal plants, and eventually became business partners with William Siff in 2011. So inspired by Siff’s work developing a local, plant-based health-care model, she saw the necessity for his work to find a wider audience. She helped the business become a fully sustainable teaching farm in Western Massachusetts. She and Siff are currently innovating educational offerings and expanding the brand’s strategy to connect with a national audience in order to help grassroots healthcare flourish across the United States. She is a professional member of the American Botanical Council and sits on the board of the Land is Life foundation. Prior to her work with Goldthread, Edith has worked in media and publishing for 10 years in both New York City and Los Angeles. Edith completed her undergraduate studies in Media and Communications at New York University’s Gallatin School.
